Ford is bringing 10 custom 2014 Transit Connect vans to the 2013 SEMA (The Specialty Equipment Market Association) show. To get imaginations running Ford is displaying 10 different examples of what could be done to its redesigned van. Ten different companies have designed and executed the vans that are being displayed.
The Transit Connect van was introduced by Ford in 2009. This van has become common among our street an efficiently small but versatile vehicle for companies. Ford has used the Transit Connect as a blank canvas for the businesses to customize to their liking. Customization is just what companies have done to not only deliver functionality, but to also deliver the brands image to consumers.
Ford has redesigned the Transit Connect for 2014. The new Transit Connect has gotten more creative via style and features, but has stuck to the same grand formula that has made the Transit connect popular. Although the grand formula is the same Ford has changed a few things by offering verity. This van is not just for hauling things but can now haul people. The Transit Connect Wagon (Wagon has windows along the side and space inside for people) can hold five people in regular wheelbase and seven people if opted for the longer wheelbase. The stylish sophistication of the exterior has also been carried into the interior. Luxury features can now be had in the 2014 van, like power 6-way heated leather seats, dual climate control, and even a panoramic roof option. You can also order the Transit Connect Cargo van in short or long wheelbase as well.
