Ford Motor Company introduced its 2015 line of EcoBoost vehicles in a coast to coast tour, challenging its competitors. The tour includes twelve cities: Phoenix, Miami, Charlotte, Orlando, Los Angeles, Dallas/Fort Worth, Seattle, Houston, Columbus, Chicago, San Francisco and Indianapolis. The tour kicked off on April 12 in Phoenix and ends on July 19 in Indianapolis.
They made a stop in Chicago on June 21 at Arlington International Race course. Attendees were handed the keys to 10 of the most popular cars and trucks on the road to put them to the test on three private, closed-course experiences:
- A high performance course, featuring professional race car drivers in the new Fiesta ST
- A hybrid challenge course, pitting C-MAX against the Toyota Prius to test fuel efficiency
- The EcoBoost Challenge course, racing the Ford Fusion, Escape, and F-150 against the Camry, CRV, and Silverado
Ford personnel were on hand to provide detailed descriptions and specifications for each vehicle. The test drive was a comparison drive experience. Participants drove both vehicles in each challenge to see how the Ford vehicles performed compared to their top competitors. Overwhelmingly, drivers preferred the Ford vehicles.The object was to let the vehicles "sell themselves," without any pressure from sales people. Some of the comparison points were:

In addition to the driving experience, The 2015 Ford Mustang, 2015 Ford F-150 and 2015 Ford Expedition were also on site.
