On Dec. 9, Forbes released their annual list of the most overpaid actors for 2013, and Adam Sandler is at the top. This list represents overpaid actors who have not produced enough bang for the buck in movie sales over the past 3 years. According to their calculations, Sandler only returns $3.40 for every $1.00 he is paid.

These figures are due to the less than stellar films "Jack & Jill" and “That's My Boy." It is hopeful that his numbers will improve next time due to "Grown Ups 2." The numbers only include films made prior to June 2013.

Are you curious who the other actors on the list are? Second on the list is Katherine Heigl with a return for the studios of only $3.50 per $1.00. They are followed by Reese Witherspoon, Nicolas Cage, Kevin James, Denzel Washington, Steve Carell, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Damon, and Ryan Reynolds.

You can check out the slideshow on Forbes for more information about each of the overpaid actors on the list.
