Forbes.com just ranked Boston as number two in their “Best Cities for Singles 2009” list – ahem, number two! So, according to this article, potential mates are in abundance and I should be pleasantly out of work as a singles columnist; enjoying the sweet embrace of my 30-something pre-med hubby, whom I met while popping coins into the jukebox at Seven’s Ale House. (Alas, I must have lost him in the commotion of the final rounds of our late night dart tournament. My beat goes on.)
Forbes ranked 40 of the largest metropolitan areas across the U.S. on a variety of factors including: coolness, cost of living alone, culture, job growth, online dating participation, nightlife and number of singles.
