For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (June 13 edition)

A little Shakespeare and a little meddling in the kitchen form the basis of two shows opening this weekend in the Louisville area. Kitchen Witches, Little Colonel Playhouse's summer production, focuses on two bickering cooking show hosts who are forced to work together in another TV show. Meanwhile, KY Shakespeare opens its free outdoor summer season with the Shakespearean comedy (and appropriately-timed) A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Don't forget the many shows already going on in the Louisville area, including a musical horror, two short comedies for one price, two shows at Derby Dinner, a murder mystery, classic productions, and modern shows. Last, but certainly not least, don't forget about the auditions below, including a rescheduled one with Louisville Repertory Company. Enjoy!
