For the weekend - Louisville shows and auditions (Jul. 5 edition)

See also

This weekend, July 4th has taken over the Louisville area. Hopefully, you have gone out and enjoyed the fireworks. Now, go out and enjoy a night on the town, getting your food and entertainment all in one place. This can be achieved either at Central Park, where KY Shakespeare continues its run of Henry V. Or you can head indoors to Derby Dinner Playhouse and check out a production of the musical Mary Poppins. Or check out both on consecutive nights!

While checking out those shows, also check out the auditions for Whodunnit's upcoming season. Four murder mysteries will take place, and who knows, you could become a suspect! Meanwhile, the Mind's Eye Theatre Company will be holding auditions for the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a wonderful comedy. Finally, get yourself into a noir, theatre style, in the form of Detective Parner Hero Villain auditions, which Alley Theater will be holding.

Derby Dinner Playhouse presents Mary Poppins until Aug. 16.

Ongoing shows:

KY Shakespeare presents Henry V until at least July 6.

KY Shakespeare presents A Midsummer Night's Dream until July 26.

Alley Theater holding auditions for Detective Partner Hero Villain on July 12.

Mind's Eye Theatre Company holding auditions for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on July 14.

Whodunnit Murder Mystery Theatre holding season auditions on July 20.
