The Disney Channel's Selena Gomez has something in common with Miley Cyrus: the decision not to watch The Twilight Saga: New Moon.
Even though one would think she is familiar with Twilight, considering she is close with the film's star werewolf, Taylor Lautner, it turns out that Selena Gomez is not interested in watching the hit movies.
According to Us Magazine, Wizards of Waverly Place's Selena Gomez spoke about The Twilight Saga with Bonnie Hunt during a pre-taped interview for The Bonnie Hunt Show, and said, "I don't watch them," adding, "Sorry, I feel bad ... even though I am a teenager."
As it turns out, and even though they seem to be very different teenage girls (take the fact that Cyrus was voted "Worst Celebrity Influence" and Gomez "Best Celebrity Influence" as an example of their differences), The Disney Channel stars Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus do have something in common: both of them are not interested in The Twilight Saga or New Moon.
In a recent interview with Cleveland radio station Q92, Hannah Montana's Miley Cyrus also spoke about The Twilight Saga, saying, "I've never seen it and nor will I ever." She also said, "I don't believe in it. I don't like vampires. ... I don't want anything to do with it. I don't like the shirts. I don't like any of it."
Certainly, Miley Cyrus' words were much harsher than Selena Gomez's. But both of their points of view oppose the opinion of thousands of girls their age, crazy about Twilight, New Moon, and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner.

Finally someone agrees with me! Before you start attacking me, let me tell you that i have read ALL FOUR books...and they suck! The first book was good but it turned sour for me in the second one because the characters have nothing going for them. Bella is pathetic, Edward is a loner and poor Jacob is being played by Bella.
Anyways, the first moive (twilight) was really really bad. They didn't act at all! All Kristen did was bite her lip whernver Rob walked by....No acting skills what so ever!
Thank God Selena and Miley have common sense not to waste their money.

They are entitled to their own opinion. An opinion is like an butthole, everyone has one. Some people don't like the Twilight movies or books but A LOT of people do. If you hate something don't just waste ten minutes writing a comment about how much you dislike it. That's just stupid.

i think they have there own opinions. Selena ive noticed is a lot nicer then miley when it comes to questions that she doesn't want to answer. miley is a brat and i think she should try saying that in a nicer way like selena did. at least selena was honest and didn't say she completly hates it. miley on the other hand said she hated everything about twilight. i think she's lieing because if you go to ondemand and then miley cyrus there is a part in there were shes doing an interview with the soup and shes answering questions about vampires and shes joking around and she even says she loves them. so watch what you say miley!
I agree with miley and selena. i do not read or watch twilight. I am a very logical person, I think it's pointless to read something that can never happen. as for miley is a bad influence i do not believe that, I believe she is a teenager growing up in the eye of a camera. stars make one mistake everyone is watching them for more. we all make mistakes and just because miley is a celebrity doesn't mean she's perfect. and I'm sure if selena was said she didn't like the way miley acted i'm sure she would've said it much nicer then you all. so don't hate miley for something you can't even do
