The beautiful thing about living in Music City is you can pick up a free little newspaper that is chock full of classified ads when you are seeking something special. And there are some special things around here!
For example, someone is selling flying dogs! At least, that’s how the ad reads: “CHOCOLATE LABS born 12-22-12. Winged 2-1-13.” But I am not sure if the breeders truly want to give the dogs up, because they added, “Call not $50 each.” This ad appeared in the January 31, 2013 issue of the Country Trader. I kid not thee.
Local folks are breeding some strange beasts. An ad in the January 29, 2013 Bargain Browser is for “Mixed Goat Dog Puppies, born & raised with goats.” Well of course they had to be born and raised with one parent; they had to obtain some kind of nourishment before they were winged.
People who place ads in these little newspapers obviously mean business. Like the person who placed this in The Bargain Browser: “Looking for a ‘Rock N Roll’ drummer. Must rehearse.” Well … that is probably a good idea.
You can search for anything in these little free newspapers: boats, houses, watches, furniture, and even employment. Just screen the employers carefully. One ad reads, “Provide service and support to people with intellectual disabilities. Ne experience necessary.”
When you get the opportunity, grab one of these free newspapers and find you something special. If you can find a flying dog or guud job, you can find anything.
