“For God So Loved the World!”(John 3:16)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Love is a word that should be used with great care. It should be said, but more importantly it should be with actions. Sometimes people can gain a distorted view of love. They have seen the inconsistencies of others and wonder if this is what love is supposed to be like. Most times love or the lack of love is passed along from learned examples from the childhood years. Where is the perfect example of love?

The Holy Bible tells of the One example of love. God’s love is showed in the action of sending His only Son, Jesus. God’s purpose was to bring people back into the right relationship with Himself. He gave sacrificially so that believers could have life forever. This pure love is offered to the whole world. It is a gift to be accepted. God’s love is not earned, but it is a consistent reminder of His great care for human beings.

Challenge: Believer, share with others around you about the great love of God! He is the best example of sacrificial and action oriented love!
