Saturday, March 9, 2013 is the official start of the For God i Run Tour. The tour will feature five of Columbia's most talented gospel writers, singers, and rappers. Artists include Ebony The Baby Jumper Dixon, CHRISTopher, JayWIll, Kidd Nova and AC The Future. Be prepared to be blown away by the musical renderings of these gifted performers.
Saturday's event will be held at Love Covenant Church in Sumter, SC at 245 Oswego Highway. Doors open at 7:00pm and the event is free to the public. This is a family friendly event with uplifting music in an atmosphere of worship so feel free to bring the whole family.
The For God i Run Tour was created as a way for these young gospel artists to give back and minister to a community in need. While there is music readily available for previous generation, the younger generation often feels a lack and out of place in a musucial realm that does not suit their needs. The artists in this tour have banded together to meet the musical needs of the youth while spreading a message of hope within the community.
