Sunday was such a beautiful day, I had to TREAT myself to a savvy (high style, low price) shopping experience!
The website describes Treat as a "sample sale boutique”. They purchase overstock from boutiques and designers around the country and pass the savings on to their fashion and financially conscious customers.
Treat, located in the Old Town section of Alexandria, Virginia, has extended their hours, to include five days a week (Wednesday-Sunday). This coincides with their re-opening two blocks down from the original site. The store reopened for business on May 29th, three days earlier than the planned June 1st date.

For a retail establishment that boasts sample sale outlet prices, you do not expect to step into such a brightly lit, well decorated, clutter free, and inviting space. The pastel green paint and hardwood floors place shoppers in a Zen-like mood. The two sales associates greeted myself and the other customers with warm, friendly sincerity.
The style of clothing stocked is elegantly simple and modern with a dash of urban edge sprinkled upon a few items. I purchased a Sally Tseng black long sleeved shirt for $25.00!
The concept is sexy, smart, and stylish. The inventory is selectively small and stylish. but the savings are vast and deep. My recommendation for Treat: well worth the visit, stop by often, and visit on a Sunday when there is ample parking!
