Since the small female dog moved into the Washington Animal Rescue League facilities on March 26, she has been making quite a buzz. She’s only been living at the shelter for a few days and already on April 3 she has been evaluated and approved for immediate adoption.
She is a stellar six-year-old Pomeranian sporting an amazingly luxurious coat. Her name is Footloose and this teeny pommie promises love, personality and countless hugs and kisses for a lucky new owner.
Footloose came to the Washington Animal Rescue after it partnered up with the Humane Society of the United States to rescue and bring to safety 15 precious dogs that were merely existing in a deplorable Arkansas puppy mill. In the squalor of this puppy mill, the dogs were mere breeding stock forced to produce puppy litters after litters.
This beautiful female is a pommie or pommie mix with a lovely coat and stunningly beautiful blue/brown eyes. Despite her lifelong hardships, Footloose is a delight and particularly good-natured and friendly. The ideal home for Footloose would be one in which she could now be the center of kindness and attention. She will bestow unlimited love and affection on her new owners.
Footloose has a busy weekend ahead of her as she joins many of the other Arkansas puppy mill pooches ready for new homes. If you can possibly make it to the Washington D.C. Animal Rescue League this weekend to meet Footloose and her doggie and kitty friends, you will be rewarded with boundless adoration and love.
So don’t wait - Select your new pet and get swept away by the love of a four-legged friend.
