Batangas Association of Hampton Roads (“HR”) will present their annual fundraiser on Saturday August 2, 2014 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church (gymnasium) from 6:30 – midnight.

The late summer theme is "Ala Eh: Western Na Tayo" or “Country Western (Casual)” and dinner will be served on this theme with BBQ, chilli, hot dogs, cole slaw, etc. on the menu.

Handling music for the night will be Disc Jockey Paul Calimbus. Not confirmed if line dancing will replace square dancing or if there will be fair representation from both.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $15 and it includes unlimited line dancing and maybe even some square dancing or free style improvisation sprinkled in…… until midnight.

Batangas Association was formed in 1975 and has been a very visible organization in the Fil-Am and Hampton Roads Community. The majority of its fundraising efforts go towards their Scholarship Program in the Philippines for students with economic need.

Batangas is a province located in the southwestern region of Luzon in the Philippines. Batangas City is the capital and the South China Sea is offset to the west.
