Nothing to do this Easter weekend? Join local musician's and Project Halo for a night of music and fun.

Friday Night's showcase of the music will feature performances by (in no particular order): One Another, You Tonight, Dirtbag Love Affair, Fat Camp, Spalding Grays, The Houstons, The Sammies and The Mangles. Also, as always, the Fools Brigade House Band, featuring members of local bands playing together for a special night.

Raffle items available and this year's show benefits Project HALO Animal Shelter, "Helping Animals Live On!" As always, 100% of the proceeds go to the designated charity.

The Fool's Brigade Annual Benefit was founded in 2004 by Bruce Hazel, to benefit the recently laid off workers at Pillowtex. Subsequent shows benefited Crisis Assistance Ministry, Hospice of Charlotte, The Charlotte Community Charter School, The Metrolina AIDS Project, and Jacob's Ladder Job Center. Previous shows featured the songs of Tom Waits, The Kinks, music from world famous rock-club CBGBs, David Bowie and The Rolling Stones, raising nearly $26,000 for these great, Charlotte-based charities.

The annual benefit was established with a dual intent; to provide assistance to a worthy cause and to shine a spotlight on the talented group of local music makers who help make Charlotte a thriving and vibrant place to live.
