Food trucks and live music returning to St. Louis County parks

St. Louis County parks will once again host Feast in the Park in 2014. Over the course of the summer and early fall, several county parks will feature live music from popular local bands such as Ralph Butler, Fanfare, Hudson & the Hoodoo Cats and many more.

During these live music events, between 14 and 16 food trucks will be on hand to give visitors many choices for dinner, snacks and beverages. Feast in the Park is a great opportunity to get the kids outdoors, do some dancing, or just hang out with friends over summer vacation.

Each event opens at 5 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. Bands begin playing at 5:30 and finish at 7:30. Admission is free to all dates.

The 2014 schedule is as follows:

May 28 - Jefferson Barracks - Cosmic Cowboy
June 6 - Laumeier - Letter to Memphis
June 12 - Faust - Power Play
June 17 - Tilles - Scott Laytham &Tricky Holmes
June 25 - Creve Coeur - The Soulard Blues Band
July 10 - Faust - Hudson & the Hoodoo Cats
July 15 - Tilles - Scott Laytham &Tricky Holmes
July 23 - Creve Coeur - The Soulard Blues Band
August 1 - Laumeier - Hudson & the Hoodoo Cats
August 6 - North County Recreational Complex - Power Play
August 14 - Faust - The Ralph Butler Duo
August 19 - Tilles - Fanfare
August 27 - Creve Coeur - Scott Laytham &Tricky Holmes
September 5 - Laumeier - The Steve Ewing Duo
September 11 - Faust - Fanfare
September 16 - Tilles - Bob Kuban Band
September 24 - Creve Coeur - The Ralph Butler Duo
October 2 - Queeny - The Soulard Blues Band
