Time to check your meat!

Rancho Feeding Corporation, a northern California company based in Petaluma, is recalling a year's worth of meat -- about 8.7 million pounds of it -- because it processed diseased animals without a federal inspection. It's the second time in a month the company recalled meat due to a lack of a proper full inspection, which is how the issue was discovered.

Process dates are: January 1, 2013 to January 7, 2014. They were delivered to retail stores and distribution centers in Florida, Illinois, Texas, and California.

No illnesses or deaths have been reported, but some products could still currently be frozen, so make sure to check your freezers.
