The book will offer an inside look into Charm City Cakes. You will get to learn about everyone staffed at the bakery. The book will include photos and a biography on each person.
Many of Chef Duff’s employees do not have culinary backgrounds. They do however have experience with art. In my opinion, that is what makes their cakes so spectacular. They push their limits with the materials and let their imaginations flow into their work.
In the future, there will be a second book to be released. This book will be an in depth instructional book about how to make wedding cakes! It will include step-by-step instructions on how to create your own wedding cakes.
A third book will follow. This book will teach about cake sculptures and how to do all of the weird and crazy stuff they do to cakes!
Chef Duff has learned something special throughout his years in the cake world: “We are never done learning”.
Chef Duff learns things from his staff each day. He considers himself, “more of a coach” than anything else at the bakery. He treats his employees very well. He allows them to create without interfering. He also gives each of them a two-month paid vacation! What a great boss!
His brother, Willie Goldman is his manager and also produces the show!
They are both great guys to work with. They both make you feel like you have known them your entire life!
