Sandra Lee, best known for Food Network's "Semi-Homemade Cooking", posted her Food Network recipe for festive Raspberry Cake Bars on Sunday, December 5th. Sandra joins Food Network chefs Ina Garten, Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis, and Claire Robinson for a Food Network special edition feature called "12 Days of Cookies."
Sandra Lee also has her own blog called "Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade" where 70 percent of her goodies are made with pre-packaged products, with the remaining 30 percent of fresh items.
Sandra Lee's Raspberry Cake Bars are quick and easy and delicious. Keeping with Lee's semi-homemade idea, this Food Network recipe is made with just four ingredients. These bar cookies start out with refrigerated Pillsbury sugar cookie dough mixed with lemon extract and spread in a baking dish. Top the dough with raspberry jam, scatter chopped pecans and bake. What could be easier than that? With red raspberry jam, this colorful dessert will make a pretty addition to a cookie exchange platter.
