April 1, Charity Wine Tasting & Auction - Whiskers, Wags & Wine

Join The Little Silver Animal Hospital Foundation for Animals as it hosts “Whiskers, Wags and Wine,” their second annual Wine Tasting, Silent and Chinese Auctions, at Jacques in Middletown, NJ. The organization is committed to making this event a huge success and needs your help. There will be a lot of fun, good food, good wine and wonderful auction items including gift certificates, spa treatments, autographed sport and music memorabilia, jewelry, vacations and more.
The organization is a registered 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization and has been working with local shelters and rescue groups for the last 20 years. Their mission is to create a second chance program for homeless pets. Through their fundraising and donations, they provide support for rescue groups to save shelter animals that would otherwise be euthanized; their efforts help these deserving animals move one step closer to placement in loving appropriate homes.

April 3, Champagne & Rosé Wine Tasting
Time: 5 pm - 9 pm
Location: Eno Terra, 4484 Route 27,Kingston, NJ
Start the spring season with Champagne and rosé. Quentin Paillard from Pierre Paillard will be pouring his family’s artisanal Champagne. All of their wines are made from estate grown fruit. Stop by their walk-around tasting anytime from 5pm-9pm. They will be featuring 10 sparkling and rosé wines, all of which will be available for retail purchase. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served

April 4 The Center School Foundation 6th Annual Wine Event, Auction & Dinner Dance

Location: The Basking Ridge Country Club, 185 Madisonville Road, Basking Ridge, NJ
Join The Center School Foundation as it hosts its 6th Annual Wine Tasting, Silent Auction, Dinner Dance. There will be a live band, sit down dinner and open bar. All proceeds benefit the students of The Center School, a state-approved, non-profit, special education school, serving students with learning and emotional challenges.

Activities include hands-on instructions on how to make your own mozzarella, notes and recipe provided, creation of two person teams - master cheesemaker and assistant, each guest will make their own mozzarella and then switch roles with their assistant, ticket for one enables you to go home with 2-3 large mozzarella balls; ticket for two will be 4-6 large mozzarella balls total, you will be taught the proper way to freeze and unfreeze your mozzarella balls, finally there will be a surprise treat.

April 10, Annual slow food dinner: Farm-to-table

Come out and dine "green" as Cape May Forum partners once again slow food South Jersey Shore for their annual slow food dinner. Farm-to-table expert, executive chef Jeremy Einhorn, will craft this unique dining experience, with the freshest ingredients from Beach Plum Farm, JAH's Creation Organic Farms, and other local sources. Join in the ballroom for a five-course dinner, beginning with appetizers of locally made cheeses and baked breads, and a raw-bar of fresh Cape May salts from Delaware Bay, provided by Atlantic Fisheries. Bring your little chefs to roll out some fun this Spring Break and learn how to cook like the pros. Join Congress Hall's own executive chef Jeremy, chef Dan, and pastry chef Shante, and learn the tricks of the trade. First, roll out our pizza dough and choose your favorite toppings. Then, make your own empanada and layer a fruit and yogurt trifle with crunchy granola. For dessert, create your own cookie dough truffles with all of your favorite ingredients. Last but certainly not least, eat all of your creations in the Blue Pig Tavern! Each child receives their own chef's hat and apron.
