Valentine's Day is the hot time for people to discover edible aphrodisiacs. If you hurry -- because seating is limited -- you can experience Food=Art's event in Baltimore. YOU CAN SIGN UP HERE. The Food=Art events are popular with foodies, whether professional or armchair in nature, because they are an opportunity for talented Baltimore area chefs to think outside the box. They are able to make creations that would not be feasible for either permanent menus or in some cases, even as a daily special. It's the equivalent of a hairdresser being given carte blanche, instead of being forced to create blonde bob after streaky blonde bob. Here are the details for the Valentine's Food=Art event:
This month Joseph Edwardsen and David Bersch bring you five courses focused around aphrodisiacs. Each of our courses has been inspired by traditional aphrodisiac dishes from around the word, though we have put our own twist on it. Come join us as we help stimulate your mind and body while feeding your soul.
“I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we’re talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime ‘associates,’ food, for me, has always been an adventure.”
- Anthony Bourdain
