Foo Fighters to present Rush into Hall; Don Henley inducts Randy Newman

Back in 2001, when Queen was inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame, Taylor Hawkins and Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters were given the honor of properly introducing their rock heroes into Rock and Roll Immortality. On the podium that night, Taylor recalled Queen as the first concert he attended.

Fast forward twelve years, the duo from the Foos, are returning to the ceremony once again to induct Rush.

In fact, this year's presenters may be just as famous as the inductees themselves. Check out this lineup:

Chris Cornell of Soundgarden will present Heart.

Don Henley (inducted in 1998 with The Eagles) will present Randy Newman.

John Mayer will present the late Albert King.

Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson will present the late Donna Summer.

The Rock Hall has not released the name of the presenter for Public Enemy.

You can find bios of all the inductees at rockhall.com

In case you've ever wondered who presented each Rock and Roll inductee through the years, the folks at FutureRockLegends.com have compiled the complete list. Who would have thought that Steve Winwood would be the choice to present James Brown? Or how about Keith Richards presenting Aretha Franklin?

As far as performances, you can expect the living legends (Heart, Rush and Randy Newman) to perform. Heart and Rush are currently on tour and supporting new albums. Newman just released a new song called "I'm Dreaming".

The 28th Annual Rock and Rock Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles on Thursday, April 18, 2013.

Preferred seating presales for members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, as well as members of the Heart and Rush official fan clubs, will begin on Monday, January 28.

All others can go to www.ticketmaster.com

The induction ceremony will be broadcast on HBO on Saturday, May 18 at 9 p.m. EST/PST.
