Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl to appear on Comedy Central 'The Colbert Report'

Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl in on a roll. After a successful week of guest hosting "Chelsea Lately,"on the E! Network, Grohl is making an appearance on Comedy Centrals "The Colbert Report," as announced on Feb. 13, 2013. Grohl will be on the show promoting his documentary "Sound City."

Grohl made his directorial debut at the Sundance Film Festival. Grohl showcased his documentary, bio-pic about Los Angeles' Sound City recording studios.

The documentary aptly named 'Sound City,' tells the stories of Rock performing artist, who recorded albums at Sound City Studios, dating back to 1969. The film is currently in select theaters, the film's run dates are extended to Apr. 11, 2013.

Grohl has also been recently named as a presenter in the 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Colbert Nation reports, "The Foo Fighters front man discusses his documentary about the legendary Los Angeles recording studio."

Grohl sends a message to his Facebook followers Feb. 13, “Hey USA, Dave will be on the The Colbert Report tomorrow night, Wednesday Feb. 13th. Tune in! More info here."
