Big Time Wrestling will host “The Redskin Rumble” on April 19, 2014 in Mocksville, NC at the Brock Gym as a fundraiser for the Cooleemee Redskins youth football league and will feature an appearance by former WWE Superstars “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and Mick Foley. Duggan will be wrestling on the show as well as signing autographs.

One of the featured matches on the show involves popular lady wrestler Misty James and her opponent, former NWA World’s Ladies Heavyweight Champion Kacee Carlisle.

"On April 19th at Big Time Wrestling in Mocksville, NC I'll be taking on Misty James, a tough competitor for sure. But that night the fans in Mocksville will find out what Misty herself has learned in the past. I'm no pushover, I don't play nicely with others and I WILL do whatever it takes to leave the ring victorious,” Carlisle said.

Professional wrestling in North Carolina has seen a resurgence in popularity of late and with promotions like Big Time Wrestling leading the way, there is no end in sight. Wrestling as an industry has seen a rise in viewership and in house show attendance but the backbone of the sport, indie wrestling, is seeing some of its best days in years.

“The Redskin Rumble” is just the latest from Big Time Wrestling to help the local community and worthwhile charities.

Some of the top indie stars will also be on the card for “The Redskin Rumble” including The Mid-Atlantic Outlaws (Matt Houston/Louis Moore), Mickey Gambino, Ric Converse, Jimmy Parker, and Mark James.

“Though this will be a fundraiser for the Cooleemee Youth Football League and I hope there is a great turnout from the community to support the cause. However, that night will also go down as the night Kacee Carlisle invades Big Time Wrestling. I hope the town, the powers that be and especially the fans are ready,” Carlisle added.

Bell time is set for 8:00p.m. and tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children 6-11 with kids under 5 bring free. You can learn more about the event by going here.
