Fodada clothing celebrates Heart Awareness Month (Photos)

February is Heart Awareness Month, and fodada, an Ocean County-based clothing company founded last year, has launched its Color with a Cause: RED campaign to spread the word. To help educate families about the importance of a heart-healthy lifestyle, fodada is fitting the approximately 2,500 newborns born in Orange County this month with its signature red beanies. The beanies will serve as a reminder that adopting an active lifestyle, healthy eating, and not smoking can make all the difference in fighting against heart disease, currently the leading cause of death in the United States.

Fodada’s “feel good” message is two fold: creating clothing that is stylish, comfortable, and fun to wear while raising awareness about causes important to fathers, including women’s self defense and autism. The clothing is made in the USA, and each sale benefits a variety of worthy causes.

Fodada is also introducing its limited edition RED collection to celebrate Heart Awareness Month. In addition to the beanies for newborns, fodada has created red heathered tri-blend hoodies and T-shirts for men and women that are especially suited to an active lifestyle. They serve as an important reminder with each wearing that children and parents should make heart health a priority.
