While the local weather is deciding whether to be Spring or not, you can spring into action for a healthier you and help out the Bakersfield community while you do it! There is a "Great Strides" walk for Cystic Fibrosis, a Healthy Bakersfield Expo and a tour of the new facilities at Houchin - all of which is family friendly and a great way to spend some time this weekend.

The Bakersfield "Great Strides" helps to support the vital research and care programs of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The walk is 5K with checkin at 9 a.m. and the start at 10 a.m. Afterward there is a lunch and raffle and more.
