Instead of a snowman, this version is all about Valentine’s Day, and is a heart person made out of heart shapes cut from foam.
To make this craft, these items will be needed:
Foam heart shapes (see below)*
Pair of google eyes
Glue
Glue stick
Two extra small heart stickers
Pen or fine-tip permanent marker
*In order to make the heart person, the following heart sizes are needed:
Three for the body (one small, one medium, one large)
Two extra small hearts for the hands
One longer, thinner, medium-sized heart for the feet
For the smallest heart for the body, glue the google eyes onto it with the glue. Draw a smile onto the heart, as well.
Glue all heart shapes together as shown with a glue stick.
Add the two small heart stickers to the middle heart of the body to resemble buttons on a shirt.
Please note: The google eyes stay on better with a small amount of glue, while the glue stick seems to work better in holding the foam pieces to one another.
Once this is dry, it can be kept as is, or it could be made into a magnet, pin, or even glued to a handmade card. Another idea is to tape a craft stick to the back of it and use it as a puppet.
