FMX la Frontera changes Tuesday/Thursday policy, offers military & law enforcement discounts

Effective May 17th, FMX la Frontera Motocross Park will be opening Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. For the past few months, ridership on these days has been low. Also, with training requirements increasing, and to offer practice opportunities for groups and teams, Tuesdays and Thursdays will be reserved for groups of 8 or more riders at the daily rate of $10 per rider, or for groups of 5 or more riders who all have monthly or 6 month memberships. Reservations need to be made two days in advance. Standing reservations can also be made for group and team practice.

In response to rider requests, the park is offering 10% military and law enforcement discounts on monthly memberships. The regular membership is $80 for the first rider and $40 for each additional rider. With the 10% discount, the cost for military and law enforcement personnel (with ID) is $72 per month for the first rider and $36 for each additional rider. Membership rates also apply to groups and teams. The park also offers a 6-month military/law enforcement individual membership for $408, payable in advance.

Memberships are advantageous for those who ride frequently, and also for those who participate in rider clinics. Fees to ride Saturday and Sunday every week-end would be $120; with a membership, riders save $40. Military and law enforcement personnel save $48. Memberships must be renewed each month, and apply to the registered individuals only.

Fees for rider clinics with Supercross pro Brad O’Neal is $50, but $40 for those with memberships, a savings of $10 per clinic for registered members.
