On Sept. 9, 2013, The Fort Myers Film Festival announced multiple offers to its Thank Goodness It's Monday (TGIM) fans. TGIM has offered reduced rates, and more, for upcoming film-related events!
"We will kick off the season with a special offer for only one week. We are happy to say that we are offering all TGIM fans half off their gala ticket for the March 19, 2014 opening night.
FMff meets every second Monday of each month, during the "season," at 6:30 p.m. (Happy Hour at 6:15) at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center in Fort Myers. The film festival, however, is held at Barbara B. Mann auditorium. The Center's location is at 2301 First Street, Fort Myers.
TGIM, also called, "Intellectualization Mondays," is hosted by Eric Raddatz. This is an important part of the film festival, for, in addition to a fun night, it is also the time submitted films are screened.
FMff has another special offer to all TGIM attendees for the opening night of Sept. 9.
"One can check in beforehand at the Fort Myers Film Festival on Facebook and receive a buy one, get one ticket for the evening of Sept. 9.
Bring a friend, come watch indie films, help us judge them, enjoy the fun and entertainment with this one night special only. You can check in at FMff on Facebook."
To top it off, FMff will be giving the first 20 attendees of TGIM another very special perk.
"We have advance tickets to Ron Howard's independent film "Rush." The film hits the theatres in town Sept. 27.
We have advance tickets showing the film Sept. 12 and Sept 17. The first 20 who get tickets to T.G.I.M. Sept 9 will get one of such aforementioned tickets. We will also give away tickets during the evening." - FMff
