Sometimes you get tired of the same old workout routine and when that happens, losing weight and toning can be almost impossible. Keep your workouts fun is a sure way to keep you motivated and on track. If you find that you are constantly dreading your workout and are having trouble completing it, then it is time to change it up and try something new. Not only do your muscles need constant change to keep seeing results, but your mind does as well.
If this sounds like you, flying yoga with circus performers and owner of Laurie Allen, South Florida Circus Art School may be the new exciting work out for you. Flying Yoga is a practice that fuses together the two traditional art forms of yoga with aerial dance. For centuries people have found freedom while flowing through yoga postures as well as dancing in the skies. All classes utilize a yoga hammock that is made from a soft fabric strong enough to support our body weight (and then some). This yoga hammock is a wonderful tool to teach students how to align their bodies within a variety of yoga postures as well as experiencing inversions without any compression on the spine! One does not need any experience in yoga, acrobatics or aerial dance to reap the benefits of this class. Classes start at 9a.m. everyday and students of all levels are welcome.
