Kansas City's Flying Saucer will be holding their 2nd anniversary party on May 2nd. This celebration will work similar to last year's. Starting at noon a new beer will be tapped every hour. The tentative list of beers to be tapped is as follows:
Founder's KBS
Bell's Batch 9000
Bell's Porter Firkin
Avery Beast or Mephistopholes
Schlafly Trocken Hopfen Stopfen Marzen
Left Hand Oak Aged Widdershins
Dieu du Ciel Route des Epices Rye Pepper Ale
Mikkeller Single Hop Centennial IPA or Black Hole
Kulmbacher Eisbock
There will also be some specialty bottles available. Mikkeller 1000 IBU, Cantillon Kriek, Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus, and Cantillon Grand Cru. Like last year, there will be raffles throughout the day and since the celebration lands on a Sunday, they will be running their regular Sunday specials.
The Flying Saucer is one of the best craft beer destinations in the area and on May 2nd, it will be hard to find anywhere better to be.
