Flyers lose Meszaros for a third of the season with a shoulder injury

The Philadelphia Flyers are expected to be without Andrej Meszaros for a month.

That is the time table given with his left shoulder injury. He is the latest Flyer to go down with an injury.

With the already locked out season, the injury will cost Meszaros about a third of the season. He suffered the injury on Thursday night when he was seen holding his shoulder after being hit from New York Rangers' Ryan Callahan.

This season, the Flyers have lost 7 total man games lost due to injury or illness. Chris Pronger, who is not expected to play, has missed three games. Danny Briere has also missed three games, while Zac Rinaldo missed a game.

Last season, they had 437 total man games lost to injury. The 2010-11 season was at 240.

Last season, he had 25 points in 62 games. He also averaged 20 minutes and 39 seconds per game.
