Designers Roberto Cavalli and Eva Duringer made quite a triumph with their chic eponymous Roberto Cavalli fashion show during Milan Fashion Week Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 on September 21, 2013 in Milan, Italy, presenting gorgeous fluttery chiffon dresses and faux fur pieces sure to please many a femme fatale.
The “posterdress” for the Roberto Cavalli Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014 collection has to be a very pretty chevron motif V-necked grey, pink and white fluttery chiffon dress with lace trim and furry “tails” over the left shoulder. The dress hits just below the calf, exposing the shins and ankles that sport delicate strappy sandals. A tasseled silver evening bag and chunky bangles complete the elegant look.
Similarly, there is a very lovely all-grey V-necked gown with lots of beading and ruffled edges in a chevron design, which is also teamed with a pearl grey faux fur stole, strappy sandals and a metallic tasseled semi-cylindrical bag.
The same treatment is given to an ivory gown, a pale mint V-necked gown, a black caftan style gown and a white dress with cutouts. It’s a look that is undoubtedly inspired by the 1920’s and 1930’s and very popular at red carpet events.
Cavalli is also on-board with leather biker or moto jackets, offer their version of it in pale pink with zippered cuffs. The pink leather shoulderbag with studded leather and chain strap, complete with silver tassel is pretty jazzy as well…
There are also other very stylish moto jackets, some more embellished than others with embroidery and beading, that are teamed with very feminine pant ensembles in this collection. Nicely done Cavalli and Duringer for Spring/Summer 2014!
