According to a story Friday on ProBoxingInsider.com, in what may very well be the most intense rivalry in boxing, Floyd Mayweather Sr. and Ruben Guerrero came together for the final day of filming on the show "Knockout" that will hit the air in April on NUVOtv. As could be expected, things got verbal, as the two trainers each talked about wanting to fight the other, whether it be in a ring or on the streets.
In a nice change of pace, the two did manage to keep from getting physical, and instead things were a little more light-hearted, as Ruben even took off his shirt and the pair engaged in a pose off for the assembled media. Yoel Judah, the third coach involved in the show also joined in, and was likely relieved that he was able to avoid being in the middle of things as he is no stranger to getting involved in skirmishes himself.
"Knockout" is a show which features the three trainers taking up-and-coming fighters, or those looking for one last chance, and working with them for an opportunity to get a high profile fight. Shawn Porter, Jessie Vargas and Zab Judah are also among the fighters involved in the show in some capacity.
