Floyd Mayweather Jr. has already chosen the opponent for his next fight and the election surprised everyone. On Tuesday "Pretty Boy Money" tweeted,
"The negotiations for my fight are almost done. The front runner is IBF Champion Devon Alexander. It'd be a unification bout at welterweight."
Meanwhile, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is suing a bar in New Orleans over allegations that they used his name, as well as his group The Money Team (whose members include Justin Bieber, Lil' Kim, and Miss Jackson), to promote a pre-Super Bowl party without their permission.
Mayweather filed legal papers at Nevada District Court on Feb. 7 that claimed The Wine Bistro used his name and image, to attract customers to the Feb. 1 bash.
According to court documents acquired by TMZ, Mayweather alleges he never agreed to make an appearance at the bar.
Floyd is angry that the bar profited on his behalf and he fears his fans may also be upset at his no-show. He’s also demanding that the bar owners immediately stop using his name for promotional purposes.
