Floyd Mayweather Jr. shocked the fans on Wednesday night when he admitting to losing some serious cash on the Jim Rome on Showtime show. As the lifestyles of the rich and famous are always intriguing, there will be people shaking their heads when the admission of losing $900,000 on a single sports bet on a NFL game is heard.
So many fans have wondered about the bets of Floyd Mayweather Jr. as he is always posting his winnings online. Then, during an NFL game where Green Bay and Seattle were playing, a ticket revealed the celebrity star lost big. As fans will remember, the game was refereed by replacements as there was a strike going on during that time period.
"I was upset, but, you know, it comes with the territory," said Floyd Mayweather Jr. shrugging off the loss on the bet during the Jim Rome on Showtime. “I lost when Green Bay … Seattle Seahawks threw the pass at the end. I lost 900 grand.”
Calm and collected about the loss, it appears that the boxing legend didn’t even bat an eye about his bad luck as he knew it was possible to lose so much cash. Of course that is more cash than most fans will see in ten years, but then again it’s just a drop in the bucket for the boxing star.
