Is Floyd Mayweather Jr the "King of Boxing"? Well, if you ask any Mayweather family member or fan, they will tell you that Floyd Mayweather Jr is. However, now you can add Timothy Bradley to the Mayweather fan club. In a Monday morning report by the Grand Rapids Press, Bradley was quoted as 'hailing' Mayweather Jr as the "king of Boxing".
“Mayweather is the king, you know, he’s the king of boxing right now. It’d be a tough fight, man. It’d be a tough fight. That guy’s clever." Bradley
Bradley's promoter, Gary Shaw, is trying to set up a fight between Bradley and Mayweather Jr. However, Bradley needs to get by Amir Khan first. And, after his performance against Devon Alexander on Saturday night, I don't see this happening.
Bradley also commented on who he thinks wins in a boxing match between Floyd Jr and Pacquiao:
“I think he [Mayweather] beats him [Pacquiao] easily,”
Bradley isn't the only fighter focusing on Mayweather Jr in 2011.
- In a video on Fanhouse, Shane Mosley is looking to rematch Mayweather Jr after he "KO's" Manny Pacquiao.
- Amir Khan still has plans of fighting Floyd Jr at the end of 2011 or most likely in the beginning of 2012.
- Let's also not forget that Sergio Martinez and Miguel Cotto have also recently said they would like to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is definitely in high demand. But, that doesn't make him the "king" and neither does his undefeated record; which is highly debatable anyways. But, we have to be careful in what we say about Mayweather Jr or he will blames his critics for treating him unfairly.

Floyd is the king of slander. If he would stop attacking Manny with baseless accusations and get in the ring and prove whose best than he could be the king. But so far he has wasted two perfectly good opportunities and now has personal problems holding him up further. So all he can do now is try to ruin Mannys ticket sales with an interview like the one Thursday just days before tickets go on sale.

Mayweather has a 0 in the loss column PERIOD. Mayweather vs. Pacquiao would be fight of the century. I think Pacquiao should silence critics and agree to Olympic style testing. A drop of blood the day of the fight is not going to weaken anyone. Pacquiao is dodging the fact he uses steroids, Mayweather is not the only fighter to accuse Pacquiao of using performance enhancing drugs. Mayweather is the only fighter in a position to demand testing though.

You are confused and should refrain from further comment. Manny has passed every test he has ever taken. Floyd should just fight him or shut up. Floyd didn't ask Ricky Hatton to take a test so why Manny now.

0 loss does not mean a thing...all the great names in the sport has a loss...its their heart to fight the best of their times that placed them in the pedestal in the sport regardless if they win or not...De la Hoya is one of the best examples...Ali...Leonard...if Floyd continues to avoid pacquiao...he will be forever remembered as the guy who avoided the greatest of all time...manny pacquiao...and this is the simple truth to it...so stop dreaming...

Who would you believe? The Mayweather the accuser, the criminal who is being charge with 8 criminal charge plus all his family had record using drugs. The family who has a problem with the law past and present. Who would you believe? Why people put up with Mayweather BS. Mayweather is afraid of Pacquiao period and no excuse. Pacquiao still fighting twice a year if he is using drugs and don’t you think the the Boxing Commissioner will let him get away specially he is being accuse. The accuser withput proof always the guilty one and a person with allot of excuse is coward to fight somebody that he knows he can be beaten.
