Listed below is the report for Thursday Jan. 31, 2013. The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

Melvin Brian Atkins, 37, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Robinson and charged with driving under the influence, endangering a child by driving under the influence, failure to obey traffic control devices and failure to maintain lane.

Charles Wayne Bannister, 44, of Reidsville is being housed for Georgia Department of Corrections. Bannister is an active inmate currently serving time at Rogers State Prison on burglary charges.

Daniel Autry Barton, 28, of Rome was arrested at the Floyd County courthouse and sentenced to state.

Philip Nichols Camp, 55, of Rome was arrested per court ordered sentence.

Francisco Sontay Capriel, 42, of Canton was arrested by Rome City Police Officer DeHart and charged with driving without a license and an out of county warrant.

Rashonda Monique Chatman, 22, of Rome was arrested on a felony warrant for shoplifting.

Regina L Clementi, 49, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Davis and charged with driving on a suspended license. Clementi posted bond and was released the same day.

Daniel Lee Dowdy, 26, of Kingston is being housed for Georgia Department of Corrections. Dowdy is an active inmate currently serving time at Harris County Correctional Institute for theft by receiving stolen property.

Bobby Andrew Holbrook, 59, of Rome was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Tiffany Deanne King, 25, of Rome by Rome City Police Officer David Tillery on warrants charging her with simple assault under the Family Violence Act, criminal trespass and two counts of third degree cruelty to children.

Michael Alexander Kirksey, 21, of Rome was placed under arrest at the Floyd County Courthouse per court order.

Linsey Alexandra Long, 23, of Rockmart was sentenced per municipal court order.

Timothy John Parks, 25, of Ranger was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant for theft by receiving stolen property.

Billy Wayne Phillips, 48, of Silver Creek is being housed for Georgia Department of Corrections. Phillips is an active inmate currently serving time at Washington State Prison on aggravated assault charges.

Edward Plummer, 51, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy Whitfield and charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Nicholas Adams Ramsey, 23, of Cedartown was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support.

Sharon Redden, 42, of Silver Creek was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.

Renea Eugene Smith, 36, of Silver Creek was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.

Terri Catherine Teems, 41, of Kingston was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Burnes and charged with driving under the influence of drugs and failure to maintain lane

Erika Kimberly Thomas, 50, of Sandy Springs turned herself in to authorities per court ordered sentence.
