Listed below is the report for Tuesday Jan. 29, 2013 evening edition. The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Rebecca Salzer Anderson. 32, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer York and charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding. Anderson posted bond and was released.
Ricky Ladon Bennett, 21, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.
Nicholas Dimetrious Butts, 20, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.
Paul Andrew Cooper, 54, of Summerville is in custody on a hold for Chattooga County.
Alfretia Charlene Jones, 31, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Stratton was arrested by theft by taking.
Catherine Allison Jones, 25, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Stratton was arrested by theft by taking.
Corey Desmond McHenry, 29, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Robinson and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and third degree cruelty to children.
Benjamin Reynolds Moore Jr., 46, of Rome was sentenced in probate court.
Chris Hubert Parker, 25, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.
Kayla Brooke Roach, 18, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Deputy Johnson and charged with hit and run, no proof of insurance, failure to maintain lane, stop sign violation and a warrant for failure to appear.
Kerry Steven Skinner, 51 of Summerville is currently being housed at the Floyd County jail for U.S. Marshalls.
Michael Brandon Stewart, 25, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.
Ariel Shanice Stock, 20, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Deputy Parton and charged with class D restrictions and felony probation violation.
Riley Don Treadaway, 63, of Trion is in custody on a hold for Chattooga County.
Noe Ramirez Velasquez, 29, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Alamia and charged with driving without a license.
Malcolm Jammal Watkins, 21, of Rome was arrested on a warrant for felony probation violation.
Nikita Nicole Williams, 22, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Deputy Parton and charged with driving while unlicensed and safety belt violation.
