The following arrest reports are compiled from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office intake report. Listed below is the report for Wednesday Jan. 23, 2013 morning edition and also contains some arrests from Tuesday evening.
The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Michael Lewis Howard, 52, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Castrejon and charged with battery.
Donald Wayne Lashley, 42, of Lindale was arrested by Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy Black and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Demontray Rashad Price, 18, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Brunson and charged with theft by shoplifting and two counts of giving false information to a police officer.
Charles Dwayne Sanford, 49, of Marietta was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Hunter and charged with theft by shoplifting. Sanford posted bond and was released.
Anthony Paul Shedd, 44, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Tatum and charged with terroristic threats and acts and aggravated assault.
Christopher Eugene White, 23, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Brummitt and charged with hit and run, driving on a suspended license, failure to maintain lane and probation violation.
Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
