Listed below is the report for Saturday Feb. 2, 2013. The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.
The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.
Jesse David Burnette, 22, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Thacker and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. Thacker posted bond and was released the same day.
Ericka Marie Deans, 31, of Aragon was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Steven Smith and charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting. See also (10/8/2011) (8/15/2011)
Alexander Samone Dupree, 18, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Harris and charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and giving false information to law enforcement officers.
Stacie Clifton Dupree, 43, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Harris and charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.
Reynold Hull, 75, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Day and charged with driving on a suspended license.
Jason Matthew Mitchell, 33, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Castrejon and charged with city drunkenness.
James Scott Oakes, 44, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Goresh and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license. Oakes posted bond and was released the same day.
Rafael Cartez Whatley, 26, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Wacker and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and probation violation.
Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
