Floyd County Ga. arrest report dated Feb. 10, 2013 (Photos)

The Northwest Georgia Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover Polk, Floyd and Haralson Counties.

Listed below is the report for Sunday Feb. 10, 2013. The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

Jason Lee Byrd, 28, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Williams and charged with giving false info to law enforcement officers, theft by shoplifting and probation violation.

William James Edenfield, 20, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Bowers and charged with giving false info to law enforcement officers, driving on a suspended license and failure to obey traffic control devices.

Jeremy Charles Fisher, 33, of Chattanooga, Tn., was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Bozeman and charged with DUI, two counts dui with child endangerment and felony probation violation.

Sissy Annette Hyde, 29, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Bowden on a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear.

Steve Lamar Johnston, 49, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Brummitt and charged with driving on a suspended license and driving too fast for conditions.

Keela Nicole McCollum, 27, of Calhoun was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Meyers and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor probation violation.

Christopher Scott Whatley, 41, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Drew and charged with misdemeanor theft by shoplifting.

Kurt Ryan Wood, 27, of Rome turned himself in on a warrant for misdemeanor probation violation.

Arrest reports do not reflect the guilt or innocence of the individuals listed. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Not every arrest/charge leads to a conviction. A conviction or acquittal is determined by the court system.
