The Northwest Georgia Crime Examiner personally compiles arrest reports that cover Polk, Floyd and Haralson Counties.

Listed below is the report for Friday Feb. 1, 2013. The reports are generated from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and again from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on a daily basis. Unless specified otherwise, all information is obtained from the Floyd County Sheriff's Office.

The following people were arrested and charged with the violations listed below. Click on the links to view prior arrests and/or additional details.

John Kenneth Bearden Sr. of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Sheriff's Deputy Glass on a warrant for insurance fraud. (photo unavailable)

Phillip Broome, 25, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Wacker and charged with no proof of insurance, driving on suspended registration, first degree forgery, giving false info to officer, obstruction, criminal trespass, interference with government property and two counts of theft by taking.

Matthew Braiden Cook, 19, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Mitchell and charged with driving on a suspended license and no tag light. Cook posted bond and was released the same day.

Darrell Jerome Crawford, 48, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Green and charged with driving on a suspended license. Crawford posted bond and was released the same day.

Jeffrey Wayne Deboard, 32, of Silver Creek was arrested on warrants for two counts felony probation violation.

Smithie Randolph Dennis, 56, of Rome turned himself in at the Floyd County Sheriff's Officer per court order.

Alexander Samone Dupree, 18, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Harris and charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers and giving false information to law enforcement officers.

Stacie Clifton Dupree, 43, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Harris and charged with willful obstruction of law enforcement officers.

Stacey Mitchell Gardner, 45, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Drew and charged with driving without a license and a felony warrant for failure to appear.

Elisa Shae Highfield, 28, of Adairsville was arrested on a warrant issued by Calhoun Police Department.

Reynold Hull, 75, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Day and charged with driving on a suspended license.

Jason Matthew Mitchell, 33, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Castrejon and charged with city drunkenness.

Adrian Demond Nicholson, 27, of Rome turned himself in to the Floyd County Sheriff's Office on warrants for child support, contempt of superior court, failure to appear and probation violation.

Samantha Rodriguez Ortiz, 29, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Flowers and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, endangering a child by DUI, possession of a schedule III controlled substance, drugs not in original container and possession of contraband over the guard line.

Adam Neon Painter, 29, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Davis on warrants for criminal trespass and third degree cruelty to children.

Deidra Amanda Tidwell, 30, of Rome was arrested by Floyd County Police Officer Henry and charged with theft by taking and a warrant for felony probation violation.

Jairo Tomas, 23, of Cedartown was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Hunter and charged with driving without a license. Tomas posted bond and was released the same day.

Alicia Lynne Vick, 49, of Rome was arrested on a warrant issued by the Haralson County Sheriff's Office.

Jeremy Neshun Walker, 22, of Rome was arrested by Rome City Police Officer Green and charged with theft by taking, criminal trespass, battery under the Family Violence Act (FVA) and felony aggravated stalking.
