On March 11, St. Lucie County sheriff's deputies arrested Patricia Ann Jamison, 50, after she reportedly defecated in a public elevator inside the St. Lucie County Courthouse in Fort Pierce.

On March 7, courthouse "staff was alerted to what appeared to be human fecal matter in the corner of the left public elevator," according to court documents.

A security camera caught Jamison in the disgusting act...

St. Lucie County Sheriff's Deputy Robert Doty wrote in the arrest affidavit:

I reviewed the security footage of the elevator to observe who was in the last elevator. At approximately 1426 hours, a female wearing a black shirt and white and black zebra striped pants, later identified as Patricia Jamison walked into the courthouse and entered the public elevator located on the first floor and exited on the second floor.

I observed through security footage the female enter the left elevator and before the doors closed she appears to pull her pants down and back up toward the interior elevator buttons consistent with someone using the bathroom. When the elevator arrived on the first floor the female was seen fixing her pants and pulling her shirt out of her pants as if she pulled her pants up over her shirt.

After walking out of the first floor elevator the female can be seen on video walking into the public defenders office.

Jamison has multiple "pending cases in St. Lucie County," states Deputy Doty.

She has been charged with nuisance injurious to health, a misdemeanor, and was ordered held on $500 bond.
