A Florida witness reports watching a UFO with a "perfect triangular shape" and three amber-colored lights that was silent as it hovered low before moving away on November 16, 2011, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
The witness was driving along a back road when the amber lights were first noticed.
"Driving a little further, I saw a total of three above the tree line in a perfect triangular shape," the witness stated. "I stopped and got out to get a good look and saw it was hovering and not a sound was coming from it. I could see it was metallic with three amber colored lights."
The witness described the object.
"The outline on the bottom and right side was very clear; the top was vague with the top light slightly obscured. It had an indentation in the middle from the bottom right corner up the right side."
The witness became nervous and began driving and lost sight of the object.
"I then heard and saw a couple of helicopters fly overhead towards that direction. I heard helicopters for the next half-hour or so flying around. I drew a picture but cannot send on my iPhone."
No town name was mentioned in the public portion of the MUFON report, which was filed on November 17, 2011. No images or video were included with the report.
A second Florida witness also reported lights in a triangle formation on November 16, 2011, in Case 33390.
"The object traveled south and kept a constant speed," the witness stated. "It appeared as if it was hovering south, yet it was ascending at the same time. The first objects that I saw (the triangular formation) disbursed into three separate directions and appeared to regroup (in video). After I finished recording the first objects, I ran to my grandfather, who was outside with me (who also saw the objects) and then noticed another series of objects traveling the same path that the triangular formation followed. The lights in the sky all exhibited the same behavior and the lights turned off after they finished ascending just below cloud level. The objects were still visible after the lights turned off and then vanished after a few seconds."

Florida is a current UFO ALERT 3 rating, with a high number of UFO sightings nationally. Florida had 45 reports in October 2011 - the 4th highest reporting state in the nation - while Missouri was the highest reporting state with 75 reports.

I was driving to my mom's down a back road when I noticed a mosquito in my car. As I looked up to smack it I saw 2 amber colored lights.
Driving a little further I saw a total of 3 above the tree line in a perfect triangular shape. I stopped and got out to get a good look and saw it was hovering and not a sound was coming from it. I could see it was metallic with 3 amber colored lights.

I became a little unnerved, got back into my car and drove past 4 trees and it was gone completely. I then heard and saw a couple of helicopters fly over head towards that direction. I heard helicopters for the next 1/2 hour or so flying around. I drew a picture but cannot send on my iPhone.
