Florida State USBC Youth State Tournament
This was the first weekend of the FSUSBC Youth State Tournament, which is being held in our area, at Seminole Lanes for doubles/singles and at Liberty Lanes for the team evcnt.
We worked at Seminole Lanes over the weekend, and it is always so exciting to watch the youth bowlers. The little kids are exciting, their balls, go so slow down the lane, and you wonder if the ball is going to make it to the pins, no matter if they are slow or fast, it is very exciting to watch. We saw a lot of strikes, splits, spares, gutter balls and a lot of parents and grandparents cheering on the kids.
Gulf Coast USBC is selling T-Shirts, with the design done by our local bowler Kayla Dollinger from Ten Pin Lanes and the towel design done by Stephen Della Monica who is also on the Florida State USBC Youth board. They are also selling Youth State Pins, Screen Phone Cleaners, and tickets for a chance for an IPAD.
The first weekend results are on the Florida State Website at www.fsusbcy.com
