Florida State's Nick O'Leary escapes death in second motorcycle accident

If Wednesday’s report of Nick O’Leary’s motorcycle accident isn’t enough, the Florida State tight end will never stop riding the two wheels. This is his second accident since July, and to put it bluntly, he’s lucky to be alive to even have a second accident.

While rumors reported that Nick O’Leary wasn’t wearing a helmet, coach Jimbo Fisher didn’t confirm whether or not the best tight end in country was wearing a helmet. For now, O’Leary will miss the rest of spring practice to heal up from his latest injuries.

The grandson of the legendary golfer, Jack Nicklaus has a bright future in football, but at the rate he’s going, he won’t see a down in the NFL.

DeSean Jackson signs with Redskins.

We’ve seen high profile career’s ended or severely curtailed because of motorcycle mishaps, so this is nothing new. Does Jay Williams come to mind?

If this accident was anything like the first one, it must have been another gruesome sight. For Nick O’Leary’s sake, let’s hope he’s careful the next time he hops on a motorcycle.

As Jimbo Fisher stated, nothing will change unless Nick O’Leary takes more responsibility.
