Women who fear losing their jobs because of pregnancy may get some help from the Florida Senate. SB 220 would ban discrimination based on pregnancy in workplaces, public lodging and restaurants, according to Dan Rogers, an aide to Senator Geraldine Thompson, D-Orlando. This statement was part of a News Service of Florida Report in the December 10 Sun Sentinel.

"I am all for legislation that protects pregnant women's rights in the workplace," said Marianne Black.
