Earlier this month, the Libertarian Party of Florida (LPF) welcomed Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson to an event in Clearwater, Florida in an attempt to convince him to leave the GOP and run under the Libertarian Party banner. LPF Chairman, Adrian Wyllie has an open invitation to Libertarian candidates running for President of the United States to be the focus of future events.
It has just been announced that next month, they are welcoming Bill Still who is seeking the Libertarian Party's nomination at their national convention in Las Vegas happening in May, 2012. The event will occur on January 27th from 6-9PM. Bill Still is a former newspaper editor and publisher, best-selling author and award-winning documentary writer/director. He has written for USA Today, The Saturday Evening Post, the Los Angeles Times Syndicate, OMNI magazine, and produced the first syndicated radio “shorts” program, Health News. He has written 20 books and three feature-length documentaries, including The Money Masters (1995), one of the most-watched films in Internet history; and The Secret of Oz (2010), winner of Best Documentary of 2010 at the Beloit International Film Festival.
Mr. Still will be on the Liberty Underground radio show for a full hour starting at 10AM Eastern, January 27, 2012 on the Tan Talk 1340 and www.1787network.com. Listeners will have the ability to call in and ask direct questions to Bill.
The candidate will be giving a speech about his presidency and answer questions at the Conference Auditorium of the Datex Building in Clearwater, Florida at event hosted by the Libertarian Party of Florida, the Save America Foundation and the 1787 Radio Network. The event is free and begins at 6PM on January 27th.
After the speech with Q & A, Mr. Still will be the guest of a casual reception starting at 7PM at the Quaker Steak & Lube next to the Datex Building.
