Florida Libertarians convene in Orlando today

The Libertarian Party of Florida holds its annual state convention this morning bringing in Libertarians from throughout the state to handle party business. There are approximately 18,000 registered Libertarian Party voters in Florida and many more members of the party itself.

In addition to party business happening today, there will be a dinner banquet this evening at the convention hotel - the Embassy Suites on T.G. Lee Blvd across from the Orlando International Airport. The dinner will feature Libertarian notables such as Sharon Harris, President of The Advocates, Inc., a libertarian information organization and the Chairman of the national Libertarian Party, Mark Hinkle. The convention is being hosted by the Libertarian Party of Orange County.

The convention will also feature a Libertarian Party straw poll for their presidential candidates and a Presidential Debate today from 3-5PM. More on this in a later article.
