One of the stories told is that of a 1907 newlywed who still awaits for her husband to arrive at the New River Inn. To this day she still waits because her husband never arrived because he was murdered by the bride’s father. It is rumored that her father wanted her to become a nun and that is why he murdered her new husband.

This is just one of the many stories you will hear when taking a Florida Ghost Tours through Fort Lauderdale. Though some stories may be a little scary for little ones, many children do still enjoy the tour and learning about the possibility of ghosts in the area.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and a digital camera, because this walking tour is 90 minutes long and you never know what you will see along the way.

Costs for the ghost tours area $20 for adults and $15 for kids ages 13 and under. Private and group tours are also available. This is an all year attraction and reservations are highly recommended.
